Education is a powerful tool for helping children reach their full potential. At Homework House, every child is welcomed into a safe, supportive environment where they build meaningful relationships with caring adults, receive individualized academic support, and develop the confidence to succeed in school and beyond.

Homework House provides free after-school tutoring and mentoring for Holyoke Public Schools students in grades 1–5. Our program focuses on strengthening reading, math, homework completion, social-emotional learning, and positive youth development.

To provide the best experience for every student, attendance is based on age:

• Students ages 6–8 attend three days per week, allowing us to provide focused, individualized support while serving more families.
• Students ages 9–11 attend Monday through Friday, receiving consistent academic support, enrichment activities, and mentoring throughout the week.

Our program operates in a welcoming, structured environment where students receive homework assistance, participate in literacy and math enrichment, enjoy hands-on educational activities, and build the skills they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
