AFTER-SCHOOL TUTORING
Education is a crucial element in eliminating economic and social marginalization. Our goal is to ensure that every child who comes to Homework House finds a safe, welcoming place to go after school, where they encounter friendly faces, develop supportive relationships with caring mentors, receive individualized academic support, and enjoy relaxing and fun activities.
Homework House’s free tutoring and mentoring programs are open to children aged 6 to 11. Children ages 6 to 9 may attend only 3 days each week. Our sites are located in the neighborhoods where the children live and go to school. Mondays through Thursdays are dedicated to homework assistance and working on reading and math skills. On Fridays and during school vacations, we offer fun, academically focused activities.
